一、句子的成分
Eg: Schools should make efforts to provide a well-rounded education and produce well-rounded individuals. (名詞作主語)
Eg: What the teachers should do is to help their students with their confidence. (從句作主語)
考生要注意的是動名詞和從句做主語,謂語動詞用第三人稱單數(shù)。謂語動詞是有動詞的各個時態(tài)構(gòu)成的。在雅思寫作Task 2中,需要注意的是一般現(xiàn)在時態(tài)、現(xiàn)在完成時態(tài)和將來時態(tài)的使用,同是也需要注意情態(tài)動詞的使用方法。而在Task 1中,還需要注意的使用的時態(tài)有一般過去時態(tài), 過去完成時態(tài),以及用be likely/predicted to do表示的將來預(yù)測。賓語是在及物動詞或介詞后的成分,一般可以用名詞、名詞詞組、代詞、動名詞和從句等構(gòu)成;表語是放在系動詞之后的成分,而be動詞是運(yùn)用最廣泛的系動詞。除此之外,系動詞還有become,turn,go等。
二、并列句
并列句是雅思寫作的基本句型。我們可以觀察寫作考官范文,考官的作文也是以簡單句和并列句為主,其他難句子只是一個輔助作用。
并列句構(gòu)成:并例句其實(shí)就是“簡單句+連詞+簡單句”
1、besides,moreover,furthermore,further,in addition,also,likewise,similarly,again等,這些副詞作連詞,之前通常用分號或句號。
Eg: It is too late to go for a walk now; besides, it is beginning to rain.
Eg: He may be a man of character, but (he) cannot be a man of ability.
2、and表示“和,且”
Eg: He had plenty of money and he spent it freely. 他有很多錢,而且很隨意地花。
Eg: I said it and I meant it. 我說到做到。
3、whereas,while,still,yet,and yet,but yet,這些詞語前可以用逗號;however,nevertheless,on the other hand前用分號。
Eg: Some people like fat meat, whereas others hate it.
Eg: He went out, while I stayed at home.
他很有錢,但是他還不滿足。
他出去了,而我卻留在家里。
Eg: He has faults; nevertheless, we love him.
他有缺點(diǎn),可是我們喜歡他。
Eg: Our task is hard; however, we should preserve to the end.
我們的任務(wù)很艱巨,但是我們應(yīng)該堅持到底。
4、so的使用:
Eg: He was very tired from walking, so he sat down to take a little rest.
他走路走得很疲倦,所以坐下來休息一會兒。
5、or的使用:Do you want a bath at once or shall I have mine first?
你想立刻洗澡還是我先洗?
Eg: Do not drive so fast or you will have an accident.
不要開太快了,否則會出車禍的
else,or else前用逗號或分號;otherwise前用分號。
Eg: You must study hard; or else you will fail.
Leave the room; otherwise you will be caught.

Task:The leaders or directors of organizations are often older people. But some people say that young people can also be a leader,to what extent do you think?
Sample answer:
It is true that many leaders and senior executives in global companies are elderly people. However, I would argue that those superb young people are also eligible to take important positions in today’s world.
On the one hand, compared to the young generation,elderly people possess more edges.First and foremost, they have better cognitive skills, such as big-picture thinking and long-term vision. This is because years of work experience and failures teach them to take every aspect into consideration before making important decisions. By contrast, due to alack of social experience, young leaders seem to make shortsighted decisions sometimes. Moreover, since the old have already overcome countless difficulties and challenges prior, they can quickly adjust their mood in turmoil and lift the morale of the whole organisation.
On the other hand, there are two reasons why younger directors are also competent to be leaders in important positions. In the first place, with well-educated backgrounds, young leaders are more likely to have a deep understanding of cultural difference, and they can empathize with other employees and clients much better. Today, empathy plays a key role in retention of talents. For example, it is easy to misunderstand others in a cross-cultural dialogue. When good employees resign,they might take the company’s knowledge with them, which is a brain drain for the company. Secondly, compared with the senior leaders, young directors can apply the latest technology and theory into practice, and this can counteract negative stereotype of management and greatly improve the productivity.
In conclusion, in my opinion, age should not be the criterion when selecting the leader of a company. Anyone who has the leadership can play his or her role in the organization.

Task:Some people believe famous people's support towards international aid organizations draws the attention to problems, while others think celebrities make the problems less important. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

With the negative influence of famous people’s bad behavior exposing to our slight more frequently, plenty of citizens begin to doubt their support towards international aid organizations. However, many people still believe that famous people are helpers rather problem makers. From my point of view, international aid organizations can attract more citizens’ attention on problems if celebrities give the right support and set up good images.
It is sensible to argue that international charity groups can take advantage of the publicity of celebrities. With the announcement of high-profile figures, such as famous singers, movie stars and sports professionals, the activities or campaigns of international organisations can be responded immediately, if they are endorsed by celebrities. In the early time of this year, ALS Ice Bucket Challenge spread around the world within a few days by the sharing of many celebrities. Meanwhile, the organisations also received millions of donation by fans as well.
Nevertheless, it is an undeniable fact that a small part of celebrities don’t gain much popularity or bring any convenience to international aid organizations. Although some celebrities give their support to these organizations outwardly, they don’t bring any tangible help. For example, some celebrities lead a luxurious life and never take practical actions to social problems, or even only take advantage of international aid organizations to advocate for themselves. As a result, the public will loose confidence to these organizations, not to mention solving problems.
To sum up, I believe international aid organizations will receive much more help from celebrities and figure out more problems if celebrities can make the right choices and their celebrity effect is used appropriately.
